Taipei Awards NT$10.2 Billion Contract for Construction of Taipei Music and Library Center

One of the biggest investments in the city's cultural infrastructure in recent years is the Taipei Music and Library Centre, for which the Taipei City Government has officially awarded a large public works contract. The project was purchased through an open tender using the "most favourable bid" method, guaranteeing high technical and financial competitiveness. The award was announced on November 14, 2025.Contract Value and the Winning BiddersThrough a joint bid, the NT$10,208,000,000 project was given to: NT$7.85 billion belongs to Yung Ching Construction Engineering Co., Ltd. NT$2.36 billion is CHYI DING Technologies Co., Ltd. The partners will work together to carry out a significant project that will improve Taipei's cultural environment. 76.91% of the work will be completed by Yung Ching Construction, and 23.08% will be handled by CHYI DING.Ruizhu Construction Co., Ltd., the unsuccessful bidder, did not rank as the best offer despite meeting the tender requirements.Project Purpose and Time FrameThe Taipei Music and Library Center's construction is covered by the procurement, which falls under "5129 Other Purpose Building Engineering." The project site is situated in Taipei City's Da'an District.
